When teaching your dog how to weave it is essential
that the 2x2 weave pole bases are properly secured.
If the bases are not anchored securely the dog will
learn to push the poles out of their way instead
of actually weaving. This behavior is not desirable.
When
working outdoors, the best way to anchor the 2x2
weave pole bases are with anchoring spikes. These
spikes will fit your 2x2 poles perfectly.
They are 6” long, made of galvanized steel
which is rust resistant and feature a flat head
so that when used with our weave poles that have
countersunk holes they will fit flush to the base.
When the anchoring spikes fit flush to the base
your dog won’t get their nail or paw caught.
This
is a must have accessory if you will be using
your 2x2 bases outdoors.
